After a wet weekend with near an inch of rain falling Saturday night into early Sunday morning (0.87″ at the airport), a second front is approaching from the west and could bring a light shower or two later tonight. Behind this front, expect high pressure to build in from the west bringing drier weather with lower humidity levels.
Moderate northwesterly winds and less humid weather start the week on Monday. Winds veer through north and northeast Tuesday, with returning humidity. Winds then continue to veer northeast through east and eventually southeast on Wednesday, remaining moderate and dropping to light at times. This will allow for a dry and comfortable start to the work week before showers enter the region associated with troughiness moving in from the south late on Thursday and early on Friday.
